Berenice Marlohe

Berenice Lim Marlohe has been an French actress for over 20 years. She's best known as her character Bond villain Severine from Skyfall. Her television credits include Pere et Maire Femmes de loi, and Equipe medicale d'urgence. The show she was on was Un bonheur n'arrive not alone (a French comedy) with Sophie Marceau, although she was not in the credits. Additionally, she is an Omega Watches brand ambassador. Berenice is a French Chinese as well as a Cambodian born to Paris France, May 19th 1979. Her father is Chinese as is her mother French. She is from an upper middle-class family having both a Chinese-Cambodian heritage. Her father was a physician and her mother a teacher. Growing up in Paris, her love for art and culture grew. she spent much of her youth playing piano or in the studio painting. Music and art dominated and inspired both her dreams and career. After attending a workshop by Jack Waltzer. She fell in love with acting and this turned into a passion for her. She completed 10 years of study at Paris Conservatory after this. As soon as she was out of college She began auditioning for film roles. The first film she auditioned for was The Discordance (2007) came shortly soon after. She struggled early in her career to find roles that would help her develop as a personality. The actor has an enormous influence on the film industry. The majority of agents and producers that she approached were uninterested because of her inexperience.
